Ceramics Care
We strongly recommend always handling our ceramics with great care, as you would care for a precious piece of art that is also functional.
All of our ceramics are dishwasher safe and can be washed in the dishwasher daily. To ensure our dishes last longer, try to position them so that they do not rub against each other during the washing cycle. If you choose to hand wash your ceramic pieces, please use a soft scrub brush and dish soap, and avoid metal sponges. Be aware that ceramics are a rough material and can leave marks if moved over a fragile surface, such as a wooden table.
Avoid leaving foods containing strong pigments such as beetroot or turmeric in our dishes for too long, and rinse quickly after use. Any stains that appear can be removed with scouring powder, a soft cloth, and warm water. Our stoneware is very capable of handling hot and cold temperatures. However, be cautious when a piece is taken from one extreme to the other too quickly, as it can cause the item to crack or break. We discourage the use of microwave ovens with our ceramics. They will most likely survive but may not last as long and may get damaged over time as a result.
